About Poutine Your Mouth

Poutine the Passion

Hey!

Welcome to Poutine Your Mouth, where the fries are crispy, the cheese curds are creamy, and the gravy flows like a delicious, savory waterfall.

We don’t do bland. We don’t do boring. What we do is serve up bold, mouthwatering, locally sourced, organic, and non-GMO comfort food with a side of fun (and maybe a little sass).

We believe food should be an experience—one that’s authentic, ridiculously tasty, and never, ever dull. That’s why we’re always experimenting, creating, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in a food truck kitchen. Because life’s too short for bad food and boring conversations.

So come hungry, come curious, and most importantly…Poutine Your Mouth!

How it All Began...

Feeding the Masses is our thing.

It all started in 2011 with a craving, a plane ticket, and a mission: to find the best damn poutine recipe in Montreal. Jennifer Buckallew and Ted Warner didn’t just sample a few—they went all in, eating poutine six times in 24 hours. (Dedication? Obsession? Maybe a little of both.)

Fueled by crispy fries, cheese curds, and an ungodly amount of gravy, they came home inspired. The result? A food truck that hit the road, slinging top-tier, locally sourced poutine to hungry festival-goers. Over the years, they parked at more than 150 festivals, serving up comfort food with a side of adventure.

But great food, like great ideas, evolves. As their family expanded, so did their vision for the future. After moving to Lopez Island, they decided to expand their menu —because why stop at poutine when you can also craft next-level sandwiches, rich curries, and drool-worthy vegan and gluten-free options? Now, in addition to feeding island locals, they cater events for those who know that the best parties come with crunch fries, cheese, and gravy.

One thing hasn’t changed: their commitment to real food, real ingredients, and real good times. So, if you’re hungry, adventurous, and ready for an experience that’s never boring—go ahead, Poutine Your Mouth.

The crab sandwich!!!! We hunted this food truck down on a recommendation from our friend when visiting Lopez. We loved it so much we stopped by again on our way to the ferry out of town.
